2004 x350 100000 miles $ value?
In reading the posts it often comes up that a 2004 x350 with 100000+ miles is a less than $ 4000.00 car.... Why is it then that no cars in this price range seem to be stock piled here in California??? Even damaged/repaired salvage title cars here are $ 6k or more... Are we talking auto auction beaters with bad engines, wiped out interiors and horrid paint jobs? Searches on auto trader for a car in that price range are scarce on a "any distance away" setting.. I sure won't be giving my car away for that price here in the SF Bay Area when the time comes to sell it. Brandon
The posts may be wrong..
There is nothing magical about 100k. Those with metric think 100k km is a lot but is only 62k miles.
I have done 150k miles in my 2005 and minimal problems. No leaks, all engine indications are that there is no issues. Good fuel consumption. Fuel trims equal and <5%, low oil consumption etc.
Change oils on engine, supercharger, transmission, coolant, etc to keep it new and clean.
