Good evening, my fuel pump died on my 2005 XJ8L. I removed the pump from the pump assembly and was wondering if anyone has the specs for the pump . How many LPH?

 

It seems that i read, one of Fords fuel pumps, can be put into the housing
Not having done the job, i can't say for sure, just how install, & which one will work

 

I have never thought that it would be so hard to find the specs for the 2005 XJ8L. In fact I have looks for 3 hours last night and nada. I need to know the GPH OR LPH and the PSI. I looked and looked none of the company selling the pumps have the specs for it. If anyone can help

 

The Delphi Fuel Pump Kit DEL38-K4014 Delphi for Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda,Jaguar, Nissan.
Has been said to work, but i have not tried it.

I hope that it works out well for you.
Both of my Jaguars have well over a hundred thousand miles on them.
Fuel pumps could well be in their future.
And these would be a another great fix many of us.

 

In 2005 Jaguar was own by Ford and the fuel pump was identical to the one used in Crown Victoria. Installed one in my XJ 2004, for $40 online, with modifications for strainers. Works great. Need more info call me 718-234-2345, Mike

 

The DEL38-K4014 DIDN'T FIT. It is too big for the pump.
So I bought a cheapo from eBay and it work excellent. The fit is perfect and no need to change connector. All for $12.99. we'll see how long it last.

 

I am sorry it didn't fit, as i have one (a Delphi) on the shelf, now hoping that it fits my 04 XJ8.
The other one is an 07, so i will need to order one of these Osias pumps for it.
