Going to take a look at a 2008 VDP I've never owned a Jaguar before and I'm a little nervous to take the plunge but I just love the style of these so much.It has pretty low mileage they are asking 16900 what do u guys think?

 

Price seems high to me, but 63,000 miles is low, how many owners?

 

3 owners full vehicle history always serviced at dealer it also has the rear seat entertainment...they also have an 07 xjr with low mileage.My wife is afraid of the age of the cars but I keep telling her not to worry lol

 

NADA clean retail (buy from a dealer) in excellent condition @ $9,000 plus a $3k premium for the lower mileage making it worth - $12,312.00. Use NADA for pricing as that's what Dealers do. Too rich for my blood. And your wife's not wrong. If you are DIY, $1500 per year on maintenance/ repairs is not out of the question. It's a high end luxury vehicle and parts aren't cheap.

So low miles is great. Age will still wear the bushings and they're expensive to replace. Age will wear on the suspension bellows. Age will muck up the cooling system unless the coolant was dutifully changed/ flushed per specs. Age will wear paint depending on how the previous 3 owners stored it.

KBB puts the car at $12,041 from a dealer. Private party would be lower of course.
