I would consider joining in on a group buy if it was a materially better deal than the 15% at Nalley.

Anyone who does end up upgrading should shoot me a pm, I'll buy your old one. The 2004 DVD in my car doesn't even recognize my city's existence :S

I have never upgraded the DVDs but feel I should.

Does upgrading the DVD upgrade the the out-dated appearance of the navigation??

Not really. The only difference I notice is the green-background Jaguar logo screen changed to a black background. Do it for current maps, and you won't be disappointed.

I got this disc a few months ago and am mused that my low fuel light now displays "petrol" on the touch screen. I don't recall it using "petrol" but rather the American "gas" before. Am I mistaken in my recollection?

Have you changed the language to American English?
When I installed the new disc, it defaulted (obviously) to British English.
I'm not sure if that would make a difference as I haven't dwelled into the low fuel area yet, but I will run her low and see what happens. Just a thought.
