Default 4.2 XJR overtakes S-Type R

Greetings,
So I read that the curb weight of a XJR is just ~3700 lbs whereas a S-type weighs at ~4000 lbs. This gives ~30hp advantage right there. Is this true?
Although the handling of S-type R would be superior while cornering, I suppose; esp. with those gorgeous wide tires.

Is it possible to get ECU tune for XJR USA MY03 or is the ECU tunable after MY07 ? ( I was told about this limitation by EuroToys)

Thank you

S-Type is made of steel, the XJR is made of aluminium. That's why it's lighter despite being a larger car..

Thanks Xalty,
I was just about to contact AlexJag on his tune for a STR.
I may go for a STR, rather than XJR, for aggressive sTR's looks and forgo the XJR's inherent 30 rwhp gain :|
