Default 89 XJ6 Blinker Problem

Howdy, brand new to the forum. With this '89 and its long laundry list I'm sure I'll be spending a lot of time here! First problem is with the RH turn signals. Both front and back have stopped working. The tail lights, brake lights, and flashers all work it is just the blinkers that don't. I found a popped fuse in the RH fuse bank and swapped in a new one but unfortunately...

I don't have a manual other than those that come with the car. Any advice would be appreciated.

This forum is for 2004-2010 xj's. I think one of the mods can move this to your year's forum - probably a better chance of someone being able to offer up some advice.

Sounds like it the stalk

You can get at the plug by
Remove the square plate on the lower dashboard under the steering column
Remove the upper and lower cover from the steering column
Now you can disconnect the plug
From the stalk plug measure the resistance
it will be 0 with nothing on and give a diferent reading for left and right turn
If you get nothing for the right turn you have your answer

If this is ok it is in the FEM or the Wiring to the FEM

Cheers
