So it appears its a common problem for Jaguar units. I been researching the wiring diagrams ,and it appears the tap for the audio switch for the Key 1 input (RW from resister pack) would be at the center console just below the radio. And perhaps add a direct ground wire also to (YG wire). But I wonder if the poor switch performance is due to the steering wheel cassete (clock spring). I was hoping someone tried the Key 1 input.

 

I'm thinking about doing this same upgrade to my '09 X358 - have you enjoyed this setup or would you have gone more the JagDroid original look route?
