Maybe disconnect the battery first just to be on the safe side?

good tip with the battery .
i checked that link . the connector is a different description than ours on the later cars , there is no bolt ,
just a lever to pull out . and the leaver simultaneously extracts the plug 3/4 out .

When I looked into replacing the ABS sensor, I found it was cheaper to replace both front wheel hubs and bearings with sensors built in than it was to replace just a single sensor. Crazy!
