I have been trying to decode the side window markings that you see in the corners of all the windows to determine if I have acoustic glass or not. When I roll down the driver window I can tell it is not the typical dual pane laminated type because it has been replaced at one point in its life a plain jane single pane. The other 3 windows all are dual pane laminated type. Problem is that none of the windows except for the windshield have an acoustic marking such as the capital letter "A" or say "Acoustic" or a symbol with an ear like my windshield does. In the 2008 XJ8 brochure that i have attached, they mention that they use acoustic glass. So my question is are the X358's supposed to have acoustic glass all around or just acoustic windshield and only laminated side glass? Seems pointless to just have the windshield and not the side glass.
