again with the cooling system?
I thought I was done with these problems. Today it's in the upper 80s F, drove home with the a/c on, was just regular traffic moving 35-50 mph. I get home and park, get out and the radiator fan is running at low speed.
I know this is not an abnormal condition, as the fan is designed to run some times, but it's not like I just pulled off the highway after going 120mph or flooring it from a stoplight. It's not even that hot out! The engine shouldn't have been so hot that the PCM needed to run the fan after shutdown.
Coolant is new and filled up, expansion tank is new, coolant crossover/tstst/sensor are all new. I guess tomorrow I'll drive with the scan tool installed and see what the actual engine temps are running at.

Well at least I can reproduce the issue!
Drove home today with the a/c on, same as yesterday. Scan gauge on the car, ECT stayed between 195 and 200 all the way, only creeping past 195 when idling at lights. And when I got out of the car, the rad fan was running on low.
I wonder if it is because I shut off the a/c before getting out? I will have to try leaving it all on auto and turning the key off. It doesn't seem to run the radiator fan when I stop for errands and leave the a/c active.
