Default Air suspension

Ok having nightmares trying to replace the compressor seized bolts and seized push fitting causing major headaches and eventual destruction of it so a couple of questions, as i now need to replace the compressor and it doesnt come new with the plastic pipework, does anyone know if this is available as mine broke trying to
get it out, only the end where they get stuck but thats enough, also
being that i still probably have a leak somewhere my second question is if i go the unplug the module behind the rear seat and put coils on route will i need to
have the compressor on there at sll or can i leave it off, also has anyone used this method to not have warning lights when changing over to coils or am i just making more problems for myself, thanks in advance fir any help im loosing the plot with this 🤪😂

picture is the plastic pipework

So that part is not available separately.

I have a 2004 - all plugs are unplugged to the ASM. I do not think you would need to leave the compressor in.

I hear later years needs an adapter to fool the module.

I'm sure others will chime in shortly.

Hi, I went out and checked my parts bin but do not have that part. I imagine its available. You can look up parts listings at Jaguars Heritage site (or any of several aftermarket suppliers like SNGBarratts, xks unlimited, or Welsh) to get the proper part number. But honestly I would probably just get the part from one of them.
I had a front strut get a gaping hole in it, so I replaced both fronts but didn't take any extraordinary measures beyond unhooking the battery. It seems fine and has been for several months. If you read through the threads, or search "air suspension" you'll get lots of info on it.
Im sorry, I dont understand your question very well. Can you clarify as to what it is you want to do?
Hope this helps,,,

Thanks both of you, i was hoping to keep the air suspension but as the first hurdle being rebuild the compressor has gone very bad its looking doubt-full, if i cant get that pipe then the difference between a new ebay compressor which doesn't have it and a jaguar part that does is over a grand !!!! Pretty much just fir a plastic pipe and bracket ffs probably made in the same factory, id buy a second hand compressor for the pipe but it would probably not wanna come out either, so im thinking as theres still no guarantee itll fix the plausibility error that maybe the better option is bc coilovers but when i disconected the air suspension on my landrover discovery2 it just kept getting flat batteries due to the bcu not being able to power down because the air suspension couldn't do what it does to shut down, really dont want to have that issue with the jag if i convert to coils which is why ive asked if anyone had gone the unplug route

Look on ebay for a used one, or a recycle yard in your area.
I found one on line for $120 delivered, from down south where it don't snow.
No salt on the roads, the paint still looks fresh..
Supposed to be low mileage, looked, still looked almost new.
Just unbolted it from the car, & shipped it, everything still attached.
Piston ring still in great shape, when taken apart to replace it.
Often times, the whole unit is pulled, leaving those parts still installed.
Good luck to you.

Well, shiver me timbers, Abonano is right, that plastic line is not listed separately. I am sorry to mislead, But I still recommend those suppliers for most things.

Ok well remebered my Discovery 2 compressor although unused is still bolted under my disco and its brand new, took it off and theres a few differences but you know what i managed to strip them both down and build one up, now that plastic pipes still broke but it just about grips in the new push fit, im guessing its inlet anyway (anyone tell me im wrong) so suck instead of pull so it should hold ok takes a good pull to pull it free, if not its exhaust so who cares if it blows out as long as water dont get in there and i aint gonna be wading with it, thats what the discos for so tomorow ill bolt it back on and just hope it cures the problem thanks all for the input

You may be able to see the desiccant from the drier in the tub, it was wet enough to clump up maybe part of the problem

Was that a connector on the end that broke? did the end look like this before it was broken?
If it did search Norma connector on ebay. I ordered some but they were to small for the breather to intake hose. The plastic tube cab be scored at the bumps near the elbows and connections. Then replaced with sturdy rubber hose and clamps. I've use compressor hose on vacuum lines.

I may have a spare one actually. I'll check my parts bin tomorrow and let you know. I often keep bad units for parts as you never know what can happen.

I have no need for the air suspension parts accumulated from my last X350 that had it.
