Alpine Subwoofer Check?
Hi All,
I am not looking to remove the subwoofers (removing the rear partial shelf). But I am curious is there a way to get to the subwoofers form the trunk area or is there an easier way to check that both subwoofers are working properly without accessing them?
Thanks!

See, in that thread I linked in post 2, the post 5 in that thread describes removing the trunk trim to get to the subwoofers. They cannot be removed from the trunk, but you can get to the. Pulling all the trim is a bit of a job, and not much easier than removing the back seat and the parcel shelf...
I actually replaced mine with an aftermarket set, and had to do both the interior and the trunk trim, as I had to drill new screw holes.

Thanks for the response. I am not looking to remove my subs at this time. Just check to see if both are working properly. I have the powered rear seat and don't want to risk causing issues removing the seats until I know I have a problem. From the trunk area were you able to see the underside of the sub after you removed the trim?
Thx!

Pretty much all of them except the inside of the trunk lid. The rearward panels overlap the ones ahead of them, and the side panels overlap the panel under the parcel tray. There are several big plastic button retainers to pry out, so get one of those tools made for that; it makes life much easier. Basically a 2-prong fork.
The worst part is getting them back under the rubber gaskets when they go back in.
