I like everything about the front end of my 2005 XJR....except the cat emblem which reminds me of a Transformer toy. Plus, it looks out of place with the leaper.

Has anyone removed it? I don't know whether its glued or maybe a rivet. When i get a dent removed by a body shop, i plan to ask the to remove and fill/paint if needed.

 

It is just the plate with two pins glued withe a sticker . What will remain is two tiny holes if you take it of . To take it of I sprayed some wd40 or gun oil on it waited a day or two and pushed it out from the inside , . No need to take the grille frame out ..

 

Heat gun will soften the glue, so it should come off easily
