Battery vent tube in XJR?

Battery vent tube in XJR?

The OM shows a vent tube leading off the positive side of the battery. I just got a new Odyssey battery and moved the "L" from the old battery but there is no vent tube to connect to as shown in the manual.

Please advise,.

My AGM battery has no vent port.

The after market battery I have also does not have any vent port. I found that out when I found the vent tube not connected to anything and asked what it was for.
