I recently updated my software version on my Blackberry. Now when my phone automatically connects with my 07 XJ VDP the sound is muffled. People say they can hear me fine, but they sound like they are under water.

If I disconnect and delete the Jag from my bluetooth page on the phone and then re-pair the devices after the car has been off for more than six minutes everything works fine. However, the next time the phone connects automatically with the car it is muffled again.

Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? I am sick of having to remember to delete the Jag from my bluetooth list before I turn the car on and then pair the devices everytime I start the car.

I have called blackberry to see about going back to the old software version, but they do not have an "official' procedure for that and it requires me losing all the data on my phone. (Corporate IT would not be thrilled with that)

Any help would be appreciated.
