As many of you have experienced my front AC blower stopped working after a while and not surprisingly the culprit was the control module (aka resistor).

I found that you can use a module from LR Discovery II (2003 or 2004) - got a used one from eBay for $35. Its the "old" design without upgraded fins, so we'll see how long it lasts.

 

Field effect transistor and thermal fuse inside are replaceable if you wanted to do that

 

The FET seems fine, but the fuse is blown. It will be my backup plan if this one dies.
