it's a 2001 xj8 and bought it "as is" from a use car dealer. I have no remote entry nor the black key. Dealer said they "might" be able to find the remote and the key. Also I can't even open the trunk since it's on valet mode. How expensive is it to get the key and remote? Thanks

 

From a Jag dealer, you are looking at over $200, maybe closer to $300. You might try more with the car dealer.
