Bouncy Suspension...
I have 2004 XJR which has been my wife's car for the last 3 years, she is now moving back to an RR SUV and I am thinking about keeping the XJR as a daily driver. I recently drove it for a more extended period and found the suspension rather "bouncy" - as underdamped - the shocks appear to be in good condition (archaic push the car bumper down test...and watch the rebound). Is that the nature of the XJR's suspension? The car has 47K miles, no suspension errors.

My XJR was always very sensitive to any seam or bump in the road.
I initially thaught maybe it was set for the track, but was assured by the dealer (Imperial Jaguar) that the ride of an XJR is like this to allow for very agressive cornering and such.
That is why I am opting to change for a VDP/Super V8, both of which are almost as pretty, and one whose acceleration is just as good.
