Strange things on inside of roof

What are those 'microphone' looking things that are in the interior roof? There is one right behind the sunroof, one on passenger side on roof between doors, one in the pillar, etc. Thanks.

Supposed to be passenger sensors.

It is for big brother to watch you-- just kidding--They are sensors for the airbags-- so they won't deploy for instance if there is no one in the passenger seat.
