Brake Lines
Car is a 2005 XJR. Are the flexible steel braided brake lines standard on this car.Bought a replaced for the right rear and it is made of rubber even though it was listed for my car. It seems most places that sell these in the UK have different hoses listed for my car part number is supposedly c2c6168. Jaguar says it has been superseded .If this is the case my hose as it bolts to the caliper is straight with a slight kink in it.It seems the superseded ones have a 90 degree bend does anyone know if these still fit.
Many Thanks
Steve.

Unfortunately I don't have an answer on the specific replacement part or if it's been superseded by Jag, but I can confirm the braided hoses are standard on the x350. Was this rubber replacement hose from Jag?
Have yet to have them to make any car lines.
I make any needed solid lines up myself, cars as well as bikes.
Goodridge sells fittings as well as rolls of the stainless hose.
Brake lines are not all that hard to make.
