Let me re-phrase that, where can I get a key cut to fit my car in Los Angeles? Other than the dealer? It is a 2004 XJR.

I needed to rephrase my question, I have the key, just need to know other than a dealer here in Los Angeles who can cut those keys?

 

Hi, Just keep in mind, that by cutting the key, you will be able just to open the door, but not to use for the ignition to start the car. Engine will not recognise the key as original, and will never start. Its just to enter the car, but not for the ignition.Only original keys, programmed by the dealer will be able to open doors and start engine. Its up to you.

 

You can also try to find a locksmith that can cut a Tibbe Key. I found a locksmith in th ePortland area that couls also program the key. Good Luck.
