Default British Diagnostics

Does anyone know if British Diagnostics is still in business? We have made an order and are not receiving the cables.
Anyone have an order with them recently? Trying to calibrate a suspension sensor.

I have to admit that I have suggested using them before. BUT your not the first person to report back with troubles either. I don't think I will mention them again! Use at your own risk!

The guy just takes your money and disappears. I had to dispute the charge with my CC company.
you do get a link to download the software and the cable is available elsewhere.
Try tools4car.co.uk I got a cable from then right away.

Ordered their software thumb drive, several years ago.
They took their sweet time delivering it.
Seems to work fine, so no other complaints.

Is it just a standard OBD II cable? I have a spare one of those.

it is not. It’s a mongoose cable. I tried several I have and none of them worked.

And be aware there were about a dozen variations of the Drew Tech. Mongoose. So another complication.

Here are the wire differences.

They are all similar but not exactly the same.

Thanks for the information. I guess I am at the mercy of the supplier. As others have said, I have the software, but it is useless without the cable.

I hear you!
My Mangoose copy has worked for years but it was a risk. Plus so many cheap copies out there you just can't tell if it will work or not.

I am going to say, do not use these people. They have yet to provide the cable and have now started ghosting me on the emails.
If I get the cable and it works, I will modify my opinion.

That's a shame. I was very happy with them and their personal support when I had questions. Another good one gone.

It is a shame. The worst of it is that it leaves me in limbo, unable to repair a car as I was counting on their parts. Really, it is theft, without recourse.
We want to love these cars and care for them long after most people would just scrap another brand. We rely on vendors like this to help service the marque.

Okay, one more shot at this. Where would you suggest finding the obdII cable? I looked at tools4car.co.uk and came away even more confused. Getting parts out of England nowadays seems risky as well.

I appreciate your thoughts and suggestions.

I used Tools4cars and received it straight away here in the states, after also getting ghosted by British Diag.

Tools4cars have a number of offerings. What did you use for the cable? Part# or description?

All i want is a Jaguar interface cable, that will work with my V130 software.
Downloaded to two computers, a laptop, & a tower.
But only one cable, its a genuine Drewtech Mongoose though.
Was told it comes with V131 software.
You need to download to your computer, so they can't help me.

There are several different DrewTech mongoose cables for different manufacturers. The pin outs are different.
Also SDD 130-131 need to run on Windows XP. I use a VM with on a windows 10 laptop. Works fine.
