Default Bypass Air suspension warning system.

I am considering having an after market coil over system installed to replace the air ride on my 2006 XJ8L Jaguar. .. How do i avoid getting an error message on the dash warning system? How can the system be bypassed, so that it thinks everything is working properly?

I have an Arnot coilover conversion on my 07 XJR. It came with a bypass 'module' that you install in the control box behind the back seat. Once installed, you will not get any further air suspension or ecats error messages or codes.

The one I got was included with the shocks. I don't know if they sell it as a separate item.

The module is located behind the rear seat. I unplugged mine and did a hard rest when I replaced my struts. Lights are gone.

+1

Previous owner did the same.

I was behind the back seat to feed my back up camera wire to the trunk. All the plugs are disconnected from the module.

No warnings whatsoever since I owned the car.

I tried that. I have a 2007. It didn't work. So I got the bypass box but came with no instructions.

Go read this thread. Member gives suggestion on how to use some resistors to fool the ECU. This is before Arnott came up with their module. I think I read somewhere that is is a 5 ohm resistor needed at each wheel sensor.
