While I was looking for the paint code I discovered that the manufacturing sticker is missing. This has me worried. The VIN is valid but I wonder why there's no sticker on the door jamb. Is there another place it could be? I checked all doors, under hood and in trunk. Will call dealership on Monday but in the mean time is there another way to get the paint code? The car is black but there were at least 2 blacks for 2006 XJs although mine is an XJR. Would that narrow it down?

Mine is on the A-pillar in FRONT of the door.
