Dear all today is was looking for an x350 4.2 and the car is very nice.
The garage told me they programmed the suspension system as it is driving about 100 miles an hour.
So all the time suspension is tight.
Is this easy programable back to normal?
For me it means buying the car or not.
The dealer where it is now can not do it and the garage where it was done does not exist any more.

You need to get a code reader on it that can read the suspension settings. The garage probably could not find the fault why the suspension was hard so they made up an excuse. Any number of reasons puts CATS in stiff suspension mode.

I only remember the settings to be CUSTOMER MODE or TRANSPORTATION MODE.
