By pure coincidence I was parked outside my girlfriends place of work and noticed as I started up the old gal that the odometer was on exactly 150,000 miles.

Does anyone else chase those elusive 000 digits?

I take most of my cars to higher miles and I like to try for a picture of 100mph just as it rolls 100,000. Hard to plan with an empty highway or backroad but possible.

I also got pics of my TDI going 100k, 200k and 300k.
Needless to say, I didn't do the speed thing there

 

In my Acura I've was able to capture it at 200,000 and 222,222. Now I'm hunting for 333,333.

Here's one a little later showing mpg out of a full tank, driving really carefully. Showed 64.1mpg at one point with an average for the trip of 51.2mpg

 

1998 Chevy Pickup 1500 at 150,000 mi. about 6 months ago...currently 157K.
