Default Courtesy Lights and Map Lights Dead

Hey folks, I know this topic is somewhat beat to death but I’ve read every thread I can find and half were never resolved and half were simple and don’t help me here.

My courtesy lights, map lights, and reading lights no longer work, but my footwell lights work. Vanity mirror lights work, and they are on the same ground as the front map lights so logically, vehicle ground is good. No combination of button presses, door open, door closed, etc will turn any of the courtesy lights, front map lights, or rear reading lights on. Fuse is good. I’ve tried to press and hold the center button on the roof console. Onset of the problem was sudden with no precursor flickering or anything like that. What am I missing?

Thanks!

Time to play detective: start from fuse and follow wiring diagram untill 12V is not there any more.
There are so many different scenarios that any two cases are likely to be different.
