Default Dash squeaks/rattles

I have a small rattle that comes from the driver side dash while driving kinda slow over bumpy roads; where should I start with regards trying to find the precise cause, or if you have any input with regards tightening things up (any common rattles?) in the dash area that would be much appreciated.

Thanks, Damian

The button on the rear of my steering wheel on the left rattles. (for changing tracks and dics) Is it that?

It sounds as though it's a bit further in than the steering wheel but I'll poke around for sure.

The following could be options.

The plastic cover around the dials
The wood trim on the dash, just pull it out slightly around the clock/vents and dials.
The centre console cowl around the heated seat, sat-nav screen etc.
There is a bar that hold the dashboard to the firewall I think, this started rattling on mind and the dealer had to take the whole dashboard out to tighten it back up.

Hope this helps.

Philip
