I used to see the flashes long ago when I would press my lock or unlock button on my key fob, Now the flashing lights are gone, but everything still functions as normal. Is there a way to re-activate the feature? Is it related to the factory alarm system

SORRY YOU HAVE NOT HAD ANY REPLIES. i DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER BUT I WOULD SUGGEST THAT YOU OBTAIN A COPY OF THE ELECTRICAL GUIDE AND TRY TO FOLLOW THE WIREING FROM THE DRIVER'S DOOR MODULE. iT'S POSSIBLY JUST A BAD CONNECTION? tHE GUIDE IS AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET. i WILL HAVE A LOOK AT MINE WHEN i CAN.

 

I think it's a setting in the Jaguar software. The dealership can turn it on and off. Mine use to do it until I had a module reprogrammed.

 

That's the conclusion I came to after looking at the electrical guide and the list of digital messages. Possible bad connection but most likely software fault.
