I am having an issue with my door locks. When using the fob, shifting into reverse or drive, opening the door, whether to lock or unlock sometimes the locks cycle between locked/unlocked 6-10 times, sometimes 2 times. locked then unlocked. sometimes 3 times. Lock/unlock/lock. Crazy. I know.
Anyone ever heard of this problem? I would like to resolve this.

I had the same issue about five years ago. Internal failure of the drivers door latch. Replaced it in about an hour and a half. Do-able if you're handy, just be sure to disconnect the battery. Messing with the linkages inside the door can activate the global open feature, causing the window glass to lower into your working area. Ask me how I know.
