I pulled the door cards to repair speakers in both the drivers and passenger doors this weekend. Ever since doing so now my locks randomly block and unlock two to three times every time I use my key fob to either lock or unlock the doors. I also cannot manually unlock or lock the doors using the interior paddles by the handles. I'm fairly certain I inserted the cable correctly. Back into the mechanism when putting the door back together was pretty straightforward. Other than taking the doors apart to look, is there anything I should have done when putting the doors back together?

 

The most likely fault is that a cable is too tight.
