Going slowly along a lane near my village at peak time, and a black Audi came past rather too quickly and his mirror whalloped mine, so now I have to look for another one ! All Audi drivers seem to think everybody else must get out of their way quick to let their arrogant selves past. I just hope his costs him a fortune, although it will probably be paid by his employer. For me the difficulty is finding a replacement, as the X358 series were only in production a short while.

 

Got it fixed yesterday at the local main agent. The indicator assembly is available separately, so final job cost me £56 incl our notorious 20% VAT tax. Apparently the mirror assemblies on the X358s were also fitted to the XF and later Xtypes. Better than having to replace the whole mirror assembly.
