Was driving on the freeway the other day when car lost power, managed to make it off and park on the side of the road. Car started once and died and it hasn't started since. The codes are P0628 & P0629 (I searched the forum with no luck). I am guessing it's either the fuel pump or the fuel pump control module. Anyone else had this issue? The control module can be had for around $30, the fuel pump quite a bit more.

Hi p0628 = fuel pump a control circuit low p0628 = fuel pump control circuit high so yes problem is fuel pump related check earth points related to fuel pump wold be my first item to check ?

 

Replaced the fuel pump ($100 from Ebay) and she fired straight back up!

 

Fuel control module 20 amp fuse. Fuse box in trunk labeled F33. Its a 20 amp yellow fuse

 

Bench test fuel pump first before replace.
