Default Main Propshaft replacement

Hi, I've just had a carrier bearing rubber mounting failure for my 2005 XJR, again. It was last changed in 2013. Can I check if anyone has come up with an aftermarket main prop shaft for our car, or are there any other options available where the carrier bearing can be replaced? I feel that changing the main prop shaft every 6 years is a bit irritating.... especially for a car that only covers about 16,000km/10,000ml a year. Thanks

I know Jaguar says replace the shaft but Lincoln said the same for the LS and I found a replacement bearing. I don't know how mechanically inclined you are, but you can remove the drive shaft (mark its position and how it is shimmed) and take it to a driveshaft specialist. Or better still if you have the old shaft take that. They should be able to find a replacement bearing. I took the Lincoln one apart and had to have the bearing pressed off the shaft and the new one pressed on. Better than replacing the shaft.

Dana catalog is here

Thanks for your links. There is one complete bearing and mount on e-bay that actually says is meant for the X350. I will give that a try and see whether or not it will fit. Unfortunately our weather here in Singapore is so hot and humid that it destroys all the rubber type components, so the rubber mounts for the prop shaft has problems, the air suspension is a 3 yearly replacement (so I gave up and switched to coil springs and stiffer anti-roll bars with good results), hoses etc.... even bushes in the suspension arms have a fairly short life.... If I didn't like the car I would have given up a long time ago..... My Japanese cars don't have such problems.....
