I have a 2007 XJ8 Vandenplas with approximately 110k miles. My radio stopped playing first and now the trunk won't unlock automatically. I had a jag repair shop troubleshoot the radio issues, but after 4 hours of diagnostics at a ridiculous rate I stopped since they weren't able to find the issue. I need an affordable, knowledgeable jag electrician in the Washington, DC metro area. All suggestions welcome. Thanks.

 

The problem with the boot is probably that the boot latch has failed.
