Default Electrical gremlins

Hi Team
i have a 04 XJ350 3 litre Petrol. My problems are to do with window operation and Central locking.
The windows will open but take 3/4 movements to open fully, then to close….. they will only move on every eighth click of the button. So to fully close …that's 4 x 8 clicks of the button. This is true for both front and one rear window.
My other issue is that the car will occasionally fail to open or close on the key fob. Bur suddenly will start operating again. ( I can of course use the key).
i had the codes read and nothing showed up, also changed both front switch packs…no difference…HELP ,!!!

Check your battery voltage after car sits overnight.
< 12.6V? This may be your problem...

(If battery is OK, run diagnostics using jag sdd and look for chassis ECU codes. Any decent jag shop can do this in 5 minutes)

try a hard reset.

Remove both leads from battery and touch together for 2 mins
then replace.
If that does not work try moving window to the top and hold button up for 5 secs to reset 'one touch'

You should hear a soft click when it responds.
