Hello All:

I was getting a P0193 code (Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor A Circuit High) and took a chance and bought an aftermarket sensor, not wise but $ has been tight. No problems for about a month but now getting the same code and showing 69 PSI on the code reader. There are many threads stating a Ford part may work. Does anyone have the Ford Part # that will work for my 2008 XJ8 Vanden Plas 4.2 naturally aspirated engine?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

 

Does the replacement sensor look the same as the original?

It was identical to the original. I bit the bullet and went to the Dealer to get one and put this problem to rest. Thanks for the response.

 

Ok Is it the black box type or the chrome 'nut' type?

 

Black Box. Picked it up from the Dealer and installed it this morning. If there are any issues down the road I will respond to the forum.

 

The used black box type are known for cracked spigots
