Default Fuel Fuel Pressure Regulator

As pictured, the chrome disk-like fuel pressure regulator sits above the camshaft covers. When taking the cover off, it seemed that it might be near impossible to to put the cover back without disturbing the requisite new gasket and accompanying gook. Is this accurate or have you been successful installing without removing the regulator? If it must be removed, do both ends have to be disconnected or just one!
Interesting, if you try to find this particular part, mercifully I'm not, nothing like it shows up. Must have been superseded.
Carpe diem,,

That is a pulse damper, not the fuel pressure regulator. Just a spring loaded diaphragm.

Thanks, luv2fly. It was not necessary to disasseble to replace cam cover.

Best,

That is correct, Steve. I didn't realize what you were asking. But, if you do need to move it, you can just pry it off at the fuel pressure sensor at the left It's not easy, plastic sheathed rubber hose, but it will come off.
