Your local auto parts stores probably carry the style of quick-disconnect tools that jackra_1 linked to. They may be packaged as "Ford" style tools.

 

Thanks for the answer, but do not see how this would release the clip on the fuel hose.

 

Only one tool is required and I was thinking at the fuel filter when I replied.

Where exactly do you want to release the fuel line?

 

I picked up a simple set of plastic disconnect tools from Harbor Freight. If you're looking to disconnect the line at the fuel rail, I believe you need the 1/2" one. Don't be afraid to really pull at it (within reason, of course).

 

Search YouTube for "How to use fuel line disconnect tool" to see how these tools are used.

Looking into what all is involved to change the intake manifold gaskets, or removing the intake manifold itself. Step # 13 detach the fuel line (310- 00) step # 6 detach the fuel line retaining clip.#7disconnect the fuel rail feed pipe spring lock couplings.
