Default "Gurgling"

After driving 40 - 50 miles there is a faint "gurgling" sound coming from dash. When I turn off climate control it stops. Has anyone else experienced this? Any help appreciated.

Possibly an expansion valve in the A/C circuit. Might be an early indication of low refrigerant.

I believe low coolant will have the same gurgling sound as it makes its way to and from the heater core... is your cabin heating adequate?

Any noise as a result of normal refrigerant expansion or low level can be eliminated by switching OFF the air conditioning when the engine is running. If after a couple of minutes the gurgling persists then it is possibly air in the coolant circuit.

Drove the car last evening. Turned off A/C and gurgling persisted....checked the coolant level this morning . Between the small & large rectangles. Apparently air in system???How do I remove air from cooling system?
THanks

With the engine running open the bleed screw with a large flat bladed screw driver.

It may help to do this with the car parked on a slope as one member on here has

discovered.

Do not over tighten bleed screw.

Do not run engine without rad cap in place.

Thanks for the info...
2 final questions:
1) where is the blled screw located
2) how long do I run the engine?

Thanks

Check out the pic, you can see it above where the upper small diameter hose connects. The point of parking on an incline is to make the tank the highest point in the cooling system, so the car needs to be up at the front. A pair of ramps under the front wheels only would work. As meirion1 points out, do not do this with the fill cap removed or even loosened.
