Default Has anyone ever gotten a parking brake fault light?

If you have what is the problem. I get one and I use the E brake go one and off about 5 times and restart the car and the fault and light go away. My E brake works perfectly, what is the problem?

Hi Collector1,

You don't mention the year, model and engine of your car (it's helpful to add that info to your signature so others don't have to ask). There are several Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) for problems with the EPB, but they're "C" or Chassis codes, so to read them requires a scanner capable of reading the proprietary Jaguar codes, such as the dealer-level WDS or SDD system, or a high-end third-party system like AutoEnginuity with the Jaguar extension. You can download the full-length version of the DTC Summaries manual here:

Cheers,

Don
