The new air struts are on and the pump is not receiving a signal to turn on. I don't have any message error on the dash, saying car is too low. Nothing. It is just baffling to me. I wonder it the electrical connection in one of the bags is defective? Any ideas? I have disconnected and reconnected the battery but sill the pump will not turn on. I know the pump is good because it was working right before I changed the struts ARGUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Have you tried moving the car? Sometimes that will trigger it to adjust height.

Default I drove it

That hasn't worked. I possibly could have moved the sensor and turned it the opposite way when the hub was off. Does anyone have a picture of their height sensor that they can email me or post? I noticed it was caught on the stop. Possibly it is either turned the opposite way or I have it in the wrong position. I put the arm below the bracket stop. Is this correct or incorrect? Should the plastic arm be above the stop. Or maybe try and move it the opposite way. The rear is sitting up just fine, looks high but it is possible its high because the low is sitting so low..

Did you disconnect the battery before removing the ride height sensor? From my understanding if the sensor is disconnected while the car has power, the suspension ride height has to be recalibrated.

Default It was a simple problem!

I looked at picture someone posted on the web and mine looked different. The arm had gotten dropped to the opposite direction causing the car to think it was to high. I removed the rubber moved the arm 160* and reconnected the rubber to the "A", arm and the shocks filled up. Total PERFECTION!!!! Right height, new 2010- current style bag and all is well in my world. I think these will last a very long, long time. Totally different construction and there isn't any noise over bumps. The old ones are bellow type exposed bags, these are covered and very little of the rubber is exposed. I'm very happy!!!! Thanks to all!!!!!!

No need to calibrate anything. All four corners sit perfectly at the same height!

The bellows you see on the Bilstein originals is not the air spring, it is just a protective cover; the diaphragm is inside.

These are not Bilstein assemblies but remanufactured oem original air assemblies that were originally a bellow style but were re designed for the 10-up XJ series and are now fully shrouded as well as a massive metal band over the bag to insure longevity, Also they are now Continental vers Goodyear
