While my X-Type is in the shop getting a second new front Transfer Case I'm driving the loaner from the dealership, a 2006 JX8-L.
Wow! What a car. Just love it.
There isn't a owners manual in it. It looks like there are headlight washers on the front bumper. At least I think that's what they are. My question is, how do you turn them on?
I tried the quick links to access a owners manual but couldn't get it to work.
Anyone who has this on your Jaguar please tell me how to get it to work.

The headlamp jets are authomatic. Either turn your wipers on and they will spray the headlights from time to time or try spraying your window a few times.

 

My lamp washers only spray when the headlamps are on.

 

lol and why does he have to know how he can use them on a loaner car?

I just wanted to learn about it. If this time is similar to the last time the Transfer Case went out I'll have the loaner for 3 to 4 weeks.

 

Trade-in the X-Type and buy the loaner !

 

Fraser If I could afford the XJ8-L I would buy it. However it's out of my price range. Thanks for the advice though.

 

When the lights are on, they spray the lights every 5th time the windscreen washers are used.
