headlight troubleshooting
Okay. So - I purchased this car recently and the passenger side headlight was full of rusty water. The high beam lit though. The driver's side unit lit fine, bit was extremely hazy, so I replaced it also.
I found replacement headlights on ebay. The new one for the driver's side is fine, but the passenger side low beam still won't light. I've tried the old driver's side unit on the passenger side (had to turn the connector upside down, bit it fit fine), and it still doesn't light the low beam.
The question is this: what's left to replace? I was concerned the connector had rust issues, but I've spent a decent amount of time cleaning it and I suspect it's okay.

It'd appears I'm not quite out of the woods.
Now the headlights won't go off!
Sigh.
Edit: it's the high beams that aren't going off.

High beams are always on for both sides. Whether the car is running, or not running with the key removed. I ended up pulling the headlights back out for fear of draining the battery.
I was going to purchase a replacement stalk on ebay, but I'm thinking it could also be a bad relay somewhere?
What do you think, Wingrider?
