Help! Recommendations and pitfalls for a new Jag buyer
Hi
I am new to the forum and am looking to become a first time Jaguar owner. I am a realtor and will be using this new Jag as my daily driver. My initial interest is in a 2003-2009 XJR or XJ8 (but will likely stay in the '03-'06 range).
My question is, is there anything specific I should look out for with regard to these particular models? Any suggestions, comments or recommendations you have would be amazing. I find that with my other interests, utilizing forums like this and your vast wealth, knowledge and experience of members like you to be invaluable.
Thanks in advance for your time...

Welcome to the forum Levictus,
I'm sure members here with this model will advise exactly the things to check and what to look out for.
As a general rule, with all used Jaguars service history is critical and any gaps should be questioned.
Enjoy the search for 'your' Jaguar and enjoy the forum.

Correct location Dave,, you're good.I'm typing while mobile, so can't do much, but if i remember correctly, the FAQ thread up top should have what to look for when buying an X350. If not, i know there are many threads with similar queries from new shopers. Or, browse the thraed list and you should see patterns and repeat subject that constitute weak areas on the car. G'luck!
