Default High Beams/Main Beams Issue

2007 VDP issue with headlights. Low beams (dipped) work. Pulling the stalk back will "flash" the high beams (main beams), so I know the high beam bulbs are good. But when I push the stalk forward so that the high beams are supposed to stay on, I get nothing. Fuses seem ok (and the fact that they will light on the "flash" setting would suggest circuitry is all ok). So I'm thinking maybe the switch itself has gone bad. Any thoughts here?

In re-reading this, let me clarify: When I push the stalk forward to the high beam setting, the high beams do not come on, but the low beams are still working. Sorry I did not include this important piece of info.

You might want to check the relays in this circuit.

Ditto on checking the headlight control relay!

Just to close the loop on this thread: took it to the dealership and they found the stalk to be bad. Replaced it and magically the fog lights started working again, too. Thanks for everyone's thoughts and help!
