Hi

My 2004 VDP's high mounted stop light is not working. My formerly working cruise control went inop, and in doing some research the two issues might be related?

I checked the fuse, and seemed ok. replaced it anyways just to make sure, but still not working.

I believe the lights are LEDs, right? So they shouldn't "burn out". Has anyone run into this issue?

 

Well, ended up replacing the 3rd stop light with a unit from a junkyard. ($120.00; Dealer wanted $325). Works fine now. I think it was a problem with the tiny circuit board attached to the LEDs. Just a guess.

It did not resolve the cruise control issue though. Have to see what's going on there.
