Hey All,

Recently purchased an 05 XJR i've been fixing up. The previous owner seems to have patched up these hoses, but I can't seem to find a diagram in the JTIS manual that identifies the part number or function of each of these hoses. The work fine, but to clean up the engine bay and prevent future issues I'd like to replace. Any advice on where to find the part numbers?

 

Looks like "heat wrap" but why there? Also looks like they were trying to save every penny by the looks of the URO hose. Too much to chance to rely on a cheap hose.

 

Looks more like an attempt to keep the hoses from rubbing, & chaffing each other to me.

You could try here https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.../brand/jaguar/ for the part numbers. The link takes you to the rad hoses but if you go back a few pages you can find the rest of them. I have found both rad hoses new on ebay UK for way less than the dealer.
