Default How to get the head rest back on?

Hello everyone,

I had to take my headrest out for some spacing to do several projects on the rear shelves, and now comes the time to put them back on.

I managed to put the one on the passenger side back on normally, but I couldn't put the one on the driver side back on; it feels like something is blocking its way back in, and I've tried everything I can such as brute-forcing, wiggling it back and forth, making sure nothing is obstructing the path but it still refuses to go back on.

Any ideas or suggestion will be greatly appreciated

Thank you.

The button to press in to adjust the headrest is circled in red. It looks like the right side of the headrest is higher than the left and may be jammed. Could just be the angle of the picture. But you should be able to push in the button and lower. If it is stuck and the left is lower than the right side I would try holding the button in and give it a firm wiggle up and down on the left side to even the height before trying to lower again.

Appreciate your answer, I'll try it and let you know if I managed to get it back in.
