A few months ago there was a STR with exactly the same interior for sale here, in Russia. But, unfortunately, i can't fit comfortobely behind the wheel of S-type or XF

 

All I have to say is NO...Just..Its just wrong on so many levels

 

Seems like 2-tone interiors are more rare than Portfolios. Anybody know how many 2-tone interiors were made a year?

Well, nobody at Jaguar can't remember the exact numbers, but they claim that there were less than 2000 of them made from 2004 to 2009.

 

There is a mention of two other colours for the X350 2005MY in some documents that do not show up in the parts catalogue; Rioja which is a darker red, and Evergreen which is, um green, but very dark.

I don't think they ever built any X350's in these colours, if so they would have to be the rarest and special orders. Evergeen was an option in the first XK8's apparently.

I did find there was an option on non-supercharged Sport models to have a full Heritage Tan seat, not the two-tone contrast, would also have to be rare...

Generally speaking, all have plain leather, except for the X358's with cooled front seats which have perforated leather.

Yes almost every XJ with full Cranberry leather i.e. not two-tone, has been in Ebony or Midnight so Platinum with full Cranberry would be very very very rare...

There's no doubt more out there but for sure the Platinum with Cranberry would be extremely rare..

It's not a factory item, probably a beige leather one that's been dyed Cranberry.

 

Yeah good shout actually, as beige is the only other colour I've been able to find.

The full on Cranberry is amazing the two tone is a little on the "Ghetto" side no offence, I love two tone interiors but not the way the black and red are configured on this. Go with your wife's instinct on this she is right.

This thread has been going so long, I ended up buying one of the cars I posted, nearly three years ago...

 

It popped up in my new responses.

 

My 04 XKR is the only one I have seen with its color combo. I see the one I the earlier post that was identical in design but it appears to a much earlier car, as it didn't have the nav package on it. Also its a right hand drive so its not in the states. What does such a rare color combo do for collectability?
